Invention of Paint Roller
In Canada, Norman James Breakey invented the paint roller and produced it under the name Koton Kotor after World War II. In the United States, Richard Croxton Adams created a similar paint roller and patented it in 1942.
Modacrylic
Commercial production of modacrylic fiber began in 1949 by Union Carbide Corporation in the United States.
Masking Tape
It was created in 1925 by 3M employee Richard Gurley Drew.
